Colleagues,

In another week I will be retiring from Jefferson County Public Schools
as Coordinator of Library Services and will be signing off of LM Net,
but before I do, wanted to thank all of you, especially Peter, for the
wonderful conversations, helpful hints, and words of encouragement that
LM Net has provided for me.  In this profession we are so alone and LM
Net has been one of the links that has kept us connected.

It has helped to know that the issues we are facing here in Colorado are
the same issues you all are facing.  It has helped to know that there
are creative solutions for our problems that you share freely.
And when the tragedy at Columbine sent us spiraling, your support was
overwhelming.


So, keep this LM Net lifeline going. And thank you, Peter, for keeping
us organized and civil.  It has been a treat to participate in this
national (sometimes international) conversation about school libraries.
