Dear LM-Netters, An art teacher and student have a question about the copyright issues of using a person's likeness in an art project. For example, is it in violation of copyright to draw a picture of Brad Pitt without his permission? Of course it would be if she was going to sell it and profit from it, but what about if she entered it in an art contest? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
