Hi
One of my teachers came to me this morning and asked if I were ready for a
challenge. His daughter, a first year college student, has been assigned a
project on Olympic athletes, in particular John Carlos and Tommie Smith,
the two black athletes who raised their fists at the '68 Mexico City
Games. I asked him if she had tried using the Readers Guide, but like so
many college students, if it not on their dorm computer, it wouldn't
exist. I thought that I could get some citations to give him, but
unfortunately, our RGTPL is missing for the 1968-69 time period. If any
of you have a minute out there to help, I would sure appreciate it.
She could ILL books from her college library, but would take too long to
reach her.
Thanks bunches,
Carole
