A district administrator has asked me for either the "average" cost of a book in a middle school library, or a funding formula to determine the book budget in a middle school library based on the number of students. As a district resource centre, I don't have a quick answer. I have tried the archives using the following terms: school library funding, budget per capita, funding formula. Lots of articles, but no specific information. This information is needed in the next hour. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
