I had just finished reading the book "Gila Monsters Meet You at the Airport" by Sharmat and started discussing the idea of expectations, moving to a new place, etc. I asked if any of the children had ever moved before and a few hands came up. I asked if anyone had moved to the US from another country (we have many such children here and thought I'd have one in this class). One child raised his hand. "Which country did you move from?" I asked. Answer: New Jersey! PS: If you're from NJ and/or don't think this is funny, please don't flame me. I know that some folks did not like the Clinton humor but some of the (unkind and unfriendly) comments sent to me personally were not warranted.
