A fellow librarian has asked me to send a request for suggested autobiographies for 6th graders to read. The sixth grade teacher has assigned it to his class with no suggestions. Though he is quick to nix many of the titles that the students have brought in. For example, booklist suggests "Knots in my yoyo string" for grades 5-7 yet he refused it saying it was too young.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated to help these kids out.
