7 gr. Recommend. reading list/book reports

I have a 7th grade teacher who would like to start doing more with book
reports with his English class.  He would like a list of some recommended
titles.  If your school has a recommended list, please share it with me.
He would also like some ideas for different types of book reports rather
than the traditional.  Thanks for any help you can send me.
