Don't put anything that smells  musty on your shelves.  It can spread!
Meanwhile, check the LM_NET archive for the post from 1998 (i think) by
Joan Kimball describing some good criteria for weeding biographies.  Had
it in my hand today (and left it on my desk, of course!)
