Re: damaged books

I have been resisting responding, but...
A few years ago 1st grader had a book out for a long time.  One morning
he showed up with a plastic bag and went into the library clerks office
and pulled the book out of the bag and announced -
"... my dog sh.. all over it!".  My clerk screamed, told him to drop it
back in the bag.  took the bag out the library door, down the hall, down
the stairs and out to the dumpster.
