I want to share an exciting website that I have found.
It is the Educational Cyber-Playground
    http://www.Edu-CyberPG.com/

This is an award winning (USA Today, MSNBC) websitemaintained  by
author/educator Karen Ellis and is geared at newbies (good instructional
links), teachers, parents and even home schoolers. There are areas for
curriculum, music, arts, technology, the Internet and Literacy.
This is a site you will want to bookmark for further investigation as it
is chock full of info.
