TARGET: Looking for a book title

A fellow teacher is looking for a picture book that is about a ship in a
bottle that is sinking.  It was written because the authors's mother had
died and on every page there is a picture of the ship slowly sinking and
the theme was even though it was going down it had "never been to the
bottom of the sea before."  Any ideas?  She has done some Internet
searching without any luck so far.  TIA.
