Ijust visited the Dewey site recommended on the list and ,boy, am I confused. I have always thought (and taught--gulp!) that fiction books were "phoney baloney" stories and non-fiction was everything else---including poetry etc. What's the official scoop? This could be a VERY confusing issue for kids--Dewey numbers are for non-fiction books kinda???? HELP!
