Matching Standards to Instructional Materials

Are K-12 schools or intermediate service units matching national standards =
or state standards to specific instructional materials? For example, a =
teacher could choose a video and the appropriate standards would be listed/=
referenced. Or, a teacher could search a database by standard and retrieve =
a list of appropriate instructional materials.

If you are matching standards to instructional materials or are planning =
to do so, please respond directly to me. If you have considered this =
approach and have decided against it, I would be interested in knowing =
your rationale. If you are a vendor and are taking this approach, please =
