HIT: Mystery in the Library activity

This is the link to get to the Mystery in the Library activity for anyone
who is interested.  You will need to have Acrobat Reader to view this
page.  I provided a link to download this if you don't already have it.

The student worksheet (where the kids fill in their answers) comes up
first.  If you scroll down further, you will see the clues.  Some of them
are hidden on papers  in books.  I also have fake records entered into my
automation system where necessary.  You will need to adjust these clues ot
fit your library situation.

I have the students work in pairs for this activity.  I dress up as a
detective.  I could not find the orig. SLJ article (from about 15 years
ago) from which I adapted this mystery.  Sorry it took me so long to post
