Query: Communication Skills

LM Netters,

One of our teachers is looking for the following information:

How have middle schools across the nation improved  their communications
skills (language arts) curriculum (and standardized testing scores) to make
student learning better and more beneficial?  This information could be
something your school has done or a web site that addresses this issue.
