Hello, I just started working a school library that is not automated. I would like to find out how other school librarian handle circulation. The librarian before me had the students to sign the circulation card with their name and the initial of their homeroon teacher and grade level. On the date due slip, she had them to write the intitial of teacher and grade level. Then she filed the cards by homeroom teacher rather than by date due. How are other librarians handling this? I work in a K-8 school.
