Target: Tendonitis in wrist

If any of you have had tendonitis in your wrist, could you email me and let
me know how you "fixed" it? I have had tendonitis in my right wrist for
about two months. I went back to my Dr., last week, and he referred me to a
hand specialist. My appt., with him isn't for another month, and I am going
crazy! I have been icing it, wearing a brace, curtailing my activities, and
taking anti-inflamatory  meds. It isn't getting any better, and this week
it has gotten worse. While showering and washing my hair, I now get pain
across my wrist, and down the arm, that is like someone slicing me with a
razor. To compound the problem, I have also had "librarian's elbow" that
was under control with exercise. Now I can't do those exercises.

I am going to try to change my appointment, and see the hand Doc sooner,
but I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had it. I have
greatly curtailed my computer activities, and am not working on my web site
at all:( I had planned on spending a lot of time on it this summer. I am
sitting in a ladder back chair with a tv table in front of me so I can put
Harry Potter #4 on it. It is to heavy for me to hold it.
