Need Book Ideas

I apologize if this is a double post, as I am sending it to two lists.
Our K-6 Jewish Day School's theme for the year is "kavod," roughly
translated into English as "honor" or "respect."  I am seeking book
titles that would fit the theme, as well as any ideas you might have for

creating a year-long reading contest/club around this theme.  Thank you!
