Dress Codes

I have a hard time understanding what clothing has to do with work quality.
Clean and neat is one thing. Pantyhose and ties are mere torture devices. I
am not sure that wearing heals will make me a better librarian, and I do
know that getting to those low shelves in the E section in a skirt can be
tricky.

I dress for fun. I have a variety of book related t-shirt and vests and have
been know to dress in costume to support a lesson in my library. I love my
job, relate to the students with enthusiasm and the kids beg to come to the
library. It is important to put the best foot forward, not the best
pantihosed heel.
