BOOK TITLE

Target:  Title of book

Does anyone know the title of a book from the 60's that is a collection of several 
stories about a genius (I think Brain is in the title).  The story I remember is he 
is challenged to break out of this maximum security cell in a prison.  He finds 
rats going through the sewer pipe, ties a note on one and it is given to a 
newspaper reporter who helps him break out.
