Hi, I am writing a grant to start a Battle of the Books program in my middle school (grades 6,7,8). No one in my district is involved in this program. My information about BOB is through this listserv and the Internet. I've checked the archives and found information about publicity, scheduling BOB, rules, and lists of books various schools have used. I have not found an example of the questions for the elimination rounds or for the tournament. Does anyone have a sample of the question they would share with me? Also, has anyone written a grant to get this program started in their school? I would appreciate any suggestions and comments about the program, lists of books you plan to use for the 2000-2001 competition, and other information you would share with me. TIA Annie C.
