Lakewood School District, a small district 50 miles north of Seattle, Washington has an opening for a High School/Middle School Library Media Specialist. Posted 6/9/00 Selection targeted at 6/23/00. THe successful candidate will need to demonstrate leadership, knowledge and skills as a Library Media Specialist with emphasis on: integrating Media/Library resources into the content area classrooms, supporting the classroom teacher in curriculum implementation, creating an effective, supportive envirnment and promoting student learning. We currently have 4 schools, two librarians. I am the K-6 librarian, shared between two schools. This idividual will be shared between the Middle School and High School buildings.
