Hello all. I have a teacher who wants me to read The Red Carpet (by Rex Parkin) aloud to his class today. This is one of his class's favorite books and many of them know it so well they can practically recite it by heart. However, the only copy of the book we have has a torn page and so there has always been a part of the book that they have never known. I am wondering, hoping, begging, pleading to see if any of you kind souls can share with me the remainder of the text that is on the 9th page that starts out "The chief clerk looked puzzled and scratched . . ." This is our last week of school and I would love for the kids to be able to hear the whole story to close out the year! Thanks so much, Julie Miller-Breetz, library media specialist Engelhard Elementary, K-5 Louisville, KY jbreetz1@jefferson.k12.ky.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
