Book Four new title!!!
----------------------

The big secret of the fourth installment in the Harry Potter series is out:
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, reported The Sunday Telegraph today.
The title of the fourth book was previously thought to be Harry Potter and
the Doomspell Tournament. Emma Matthewson, a senior editor at Bloomsbury in
Canada, had been mugged and her car broken into twice in an effort to get
the
Goblet of Fire, which is 752 pages of reading.

The book has advance sales of over 1.8 million copies. Large online
bookseller amazon.com has made a deal with FedEx to ship pre-ordered books
for free on July 8, when the book is due out. Many other booksellers are
planning Harry Potter parties and are opening their doors at 12:01 on July
8th, the earliest they are legally allowed to open in accordance with a
international embargo. Readers in countries where the clock strikes midnight
before Britain and North America will have read the book and posted
information on the websites right away.

The Sunday Telegraph of Britain reported today,

-- "THE publishing world was in a state of high excitement last night after
the title of the latest Harry Potter book appeared to have leaked out.
Despite the extraordinary security measures that Bloomsbury, the publishers,
have taken to safeguard the name of J K Rowling's new book, word has
filtered through to The Telegraph that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
may soon be on sale. The first clue came at the end of last week when it was
discovered that it contained the words "goblet" and "of". The next day fresh
intelligence suggested it also contained the word "fire".

When The Telegraph approached sources close to the project, it received the
cryptic response: "If you put Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire you
wouldn't be a million miles out." It was also hinted that the cover would
feature a winged dragon. Whether this turns out to be the case will not be
known officially until July 8, the publication date for what Bloomsbury
insists on calling Harry Potter Four. It has refused to comment on the title
in an attempt to maximize publicity.

Even before its launch the book has become the biggest selling children's
work with advance sales of 1.8 million. Figures are expected to double
almost
overnight when it goes on sale next month. Printers in Glasgow and Bungay,
Suffolk, who are working round the clock to produce thousands of copies,
have been sworn to secrecy and told to shred waste material. The books will
be released from secure warehouses on July 7.

Keeping the project secret was "a challenge", said Emma Matthewson, the
commissioning editor at Bloomsbury. Only one copy of the 700-page manuscript
was available and she said: "I had it physically on me at all times and when
I was not working I kept it in a safety box at the bank." She added that
during the six-week editing period she was mugged in the street and her car
was broken into twice.

Ms Rowling had intended to call the book Harry Potter and the Doomspell
Tournament but changed her mind in March. The book, the fourth in a series
of seven, is expected to feature the death of one of the best loved
characters to show that good does not always overcome evil."--
