TARGET: GEN: Periodical Advice for M.S. Needed

Dear Friends,
Like so many of you out there, I am having trouble finding appropriate
titles for the middle school level (6-8) that students will actually
read and that will not just sit on the shelf. Based on a previous hit on
LM_NET, I am considering the purchase of the magazines listed below for
my Middle School library.  I am unfamiliar with the content of these
titles, and am requesting that someone who does subscribe to any of
these email me a brief description of the magazines. In addition,  I am
also looking for a good magazine on pets and music (preferably rock
music) for the same level, and am wondering how appropriate Car & Driver
and Road & Track would be for middle school.  Thanks for any
help/suggestions you can give.
The titles for which I need a description are:

    Cobblestone
    DisneyAdventure
    Faces
    Zillions
    Teen Beat
