It is July 1100 and the Crusaders have taken over Jerusalem.   The
government is a delicate balance between the leaders of several
countries' Knights along with what remains of the local government.
 Into this mess falls a series of murders which all appear to relate
to each other.  One Knight is appointed to investigate the murders
and has the backing of several of the leaders -- what he begins to
uncover scares a lot of people.  This book is a murder mystery set
within a work of historical fiction.  It is an adult 277 page book
suitable for young adults.  Although there are a lot of historical
facts woven into the story, I found the whole thing very intriguing
being it is a time and place of which I know little.  This would be an
incredible adjunct to any study of the Crusades.
