Colleagues, I'm working on a project for a YA lit. course. I have three questions: If you are a LMS in a middle or high school, what essential criteria do you feel should be included for selecting books to be taught in the classroom (other than the curriculum standards)? Also, what newer books can you recommend that may have been published in the last 5 or 10 years? Finally, Can you suggest any books for reluctant readers in middle or high school? Thank you so much (in advance!)
