Yesterday I received an invitation to be a member of a school librarian's delegation to the People's Republic of China, sponsored by the People to People Ambassador Programs. At first I did not seriously consider going because of the cost, but my husband and brother have both encouraged me to find out more information. I did find information about the People to People Ambassador Programs on the internet, but I would like to have opinions from others who have heard of/participated in any of the programs. Has anyone heard of or participated in any People to People Ambassador Program? If so, did you find it a benefical experience? What did you like/dislike about the program? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to my e-mail address, ehart@csb.cde.ca.gov, not the list. Thank you for your help.
