Greetings helpful LM-Netters - My sophomore niece is looking for a "good book about people with a problem or challenge - sad but not with murders." She and a partner (who doesn't want it to be really long...) need to choose something by next week for their teacher's approval. As a K-6 person, I'm afraid I can't help - any suggestions?
