Dear LM_NET Colleagues,

What could be better combination that librarians and people promoting
reading? If you have been on LM_NET for any length of time you probably
are aware of the presence of Jane Coffey, and know about her organization
and project to promote reading, The Read-In.

We of LM_NET are now becoming "official" partners, and quite a few nice
opportunities will be available to both groups as a result. Some of them
are explained in the press release below. Please note that The Read-In
will now be the host for our LM_NET Chats and Conferences. We will move
into a very friendly and supportive environment, assisted by the
experienced Read-In volunteers.

Please watch for our own call for volunteers to assist with regular
conferences and chats when they resume. We think that you will enjoy the
new environment, using the Palace chat environment!
