TECH:powerpoint for MAC

I have a student who created an elaborate powerpoint
presentation in Powerpoint vrs. 98 for MAC.We have
G3s.  She had many photos, sounds, and movies.  When
she opened her presentation today, all the photos have
been replaced by red X's.  The computer has enough
memory and I allotted more memory to powerpoint but
with no results. Is there anything I can do to save
her project?
