ELEM: Beatrice Gormley & Kate Duke author visits

I found out by reading out PTA newsletter yesterday that we are having
two authors visit us on March 15. If you have had either of these two
authors visit your school, can you let me know how their presentations
were? Other than making their books available (of which we have just one
or two!) to the kids and teachers, what did you do to prepare to students
for the visit? Thank goodness I'm not the hostess or planner of the
event... PTA takes care of everything (they usually provide lunch, etc),
but I thought I'd have more than two weeks notice, so then I could have
purchased copies of thier books for the library. <g>
