DE Only: Call to arms

  It has come to my attention that I was not clear in my explanation
when I posted my first "Call to Arms"  message.  Apparently my use of
the word "Professional" was misinterpreted by many.  I am asking that
teachers and librarians and administrators write the legislator in DE
and stress the importance of removing all specialist positions ( art,
music, gym, and especially librarians) from the unit count.
    My hope is that they will allow one CERTIFIED (i.e.. trained)
librarian per building without affecting the number of classroom
teachers.  I also would hope that even the "untrained", yet experienced,

library managers would be grandfathered into their positions.   Please
join me in trying to convey the importance of libraries to the education

of Delaware's students!
