My sister's bones

I have an angry parent of a 16 year old objecting to "My Sister's Bones" . I
have pulled some reviews but most give a summary and not justification. I
have been reading all of the books that I order and (I must admit) have had
some sleepless nights anticipating a conflict like this as many of the
books--though highly recommended--write about sensitive issues. Help,
please? I do not want to pull  books yet I dread more of these objections. I
do have a policy in place. Our school system notoriously buckles to
pressure. In fact, all Goosebump books were recently pulled from all shelves
in the district because of one objection.
