Hi: I have some inexpensive busts of authors that stand about 2 feet tall on top of our book shelves and they're very attractive. I'd like to get some other examples of sculpture to display, in the 18" - 24" range. Things with an Egyptian flavor, Native American, Oriental, African, etc. Do any of you know of any sources for fairly inexpensive objects like this? I was also thinking of inviting (begging) each class to donate a piece to the library as they graduate and build up a collection that way. The athletic teams seem to rake it in...maybe THEY would donate a piece at the end of each season! Anyway, any sources for representational sculpture would be appreciated. TIA.
