I'm teaching a Word 97 class to teachers in my district. Several of them have asked me which software would be better for them to purchase for their home computers. Should they purchase Office 97 or Office 2000? How different is Word 2000 from Word 97? Will it be confusing to them? (Many of these teachers are real novices.) Are files created with Word 97 compatible with Word 2000? I'd appreciate any advice you can give me so that I can share your wisdom with my class.
