I still like to read series fiction, particularly when I'm very stressed and
just need to escape.  It beats trying a new author at these times, because
the comfort of the series helps ease the stress.  I can tell you from my
days as a public librarian that adults aren't any different than children
(or me), they like series fiction.  :)
