Re: Favorite book as a child

I grew up in home that had many problems.  My favorite books as a child were the
All-of-a-Kind Family books by Sydney Taylor, and the Austin family books by
Madeleine L'Engle.  In retrospect, I realize the loving, caring families portrayed
in these books were like the family I wanted to be part of but never was.  I still
re-read one of these books every year or two, and have enjoyed sharing them with
my daughter.
