Off-list observation

I know you are all off on summer holidays, but for all of you who sent me a 
'snow-day' when we were
sweltering here just a few weeks ago, can I tell you that is has arrived.  The 
first May snowfall in
23 years in Canberra, and the first ever for some places like Adelaide.  Not enough 
to close the
school but lots of fun for  littlies who have never seen it before.
