I have been an elementary classroom teacher for the past 25 years and am
making the transition to the position of media specialist. What are some
resources that you feel you just could not be without as a media specialist
both in terms of text materials and technology. I'm excited about starting
this new position but surely could use the wisdom of some people who have
done this type of job for awhile.

Our building is only three years old so our collection of books is only
beginning. We do have a computer lab of 30 pcs and 12 more pc out in the
media center itself. Each of our classrooms also has a pc which is networked
to a server.
