I have a teacher looking for information on the cost of living in different parts of the USA. Specifically, she's looking for the cost of a loaf of bread, a modest 3 bedroom house in the suburbs, a gallon of unleaded gas as well as how much hourly wage a high school student might expect to make. Cities targeted are Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, and Anchorage. We've found some hit and miss info. on the web, she's spoken with the Dept. of Commerce, and we've dealt with the Consumer Price Index. Nothing great, so far. She's flexible on purchases, and cities. Would like to work this up for next year. Does anyone have any suggestions.
