Hi all. Once again I turn to you. We have a problem with students arriving to school late. Our school has grades 7-9 with 750 students. I have been asked to find some information about what other schools do to reduce the number of students who arrive at school late in the morning/afternoon. I am not referring to arriving late for a class, but rather arriving late for morning and/or afternoon registration. We are interested in doing something other than giving daily detentions as a consequence. Do you have any suggestions regarding consequences that actually work to reduce student lates? I have searched the archives. Your help would be appreciated. Kathy Thomson Teacher-Librarian S.
