During a remodeling project last summer our 3M security system was destroyed
by some workmen.  Now my building principal wants some advice from high
school librarians about the use of materials security  systems.  He
specifically wants to know:
*       What is the magnitude of losses at schools that do not have security
systems?
*       Do security systems reduce theft losses?
*       If you have a security system and you think it is cost effective
what system(s) do you recommend?

I will post a hit with the results I get!
