TARGET: info on artist Ellen Day Hale

Our Accademic Decatahlon team is researching artist Ellen Day Hale.  We
have almost nothing in house.  They have searched (with their limited
searching abilities) using several search engines and are not finding much.
 Can anyone help us out?  They need info about the artist and particularly
her self portrait.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Pati
