I have a patron looking for a poem she was read to as a child (about 20 years ago.) These are the verses she remembers: "Proud King Willoughby, Lord High Chancellor ...." "Run to the wicket gate quickly, quickly Run to the wicket gate to see who is knocking. It may be a ..." At that point it lists a variety of possible people -- it may be a poor man, it may be a rich man, etc., and there are a few lines about each person. The poem is pretty long, and it was in a collection of children's poems and stories (which my family has missplaced at some point). Does anyone have any information as to where I can find this poem or could send me the words? -- Kristen Patschke patschkek@ten-nash.ten.k12.tn.us Library Media Specialist Sequoyah Elementary Knoxville, Tennessee =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
