Reading Counts Input

Greetings from Oregon...
    Our small (240 students) elementary school is considering the
purchase of Scholastic's Reading Counts Program.  I see from LM NET that

many of you have been using it for awhile, and some seem to be finding
it problematic.  I'd like to hear from anyone using the program.... with

POSITIVE or NEGATIVE input......before we make this MAJOR purchase.
    ~How do you and your teachers like the program?
    ~Are you happy that you purchased this program as opposed to others
available?
    ~How many students do you have, and do you know approx. what your
cost per student has been?
    ~Does the program run smoothly for you?
    ~How helpful has Scholastic Tech support been?
    ~Do your teachers find it easy to use in the classroom?
    ~And, most importantly, do your teachers feel that the program has
aided student progress, and increased comprehension and reading skills?

    Thanks for any insight you might be able to provide us with !
