Thanks everyone who tried to help me locate what I thought would be a poem in a SPIDER magazine. Here?s what I came up with for my building theme for kindergarten: Blocks I build big towers with my blocks; (Stack one on the other) I make them, oh, so tall. (Arms straight up like a tower) I watch them swaying back and forth, (Sway arms back and forth) Then I hear them fall! (Arms fall down flat) Gawron, Marlene . BUSY BODIES, FINGER PLAYS AND ACTION RHYMES. Orlando : Moonlight Press, 1985. page 46. Books: CHANGES, CHANGES by Pat Hutchins BABY SAYS by John Steptoe And continuing with the building theme, The three little pigs. I read James Marshall?s version, but any standard retelling would do. It was a smashing success and a nice variation on the building theme the school had been celebrating all week as ground was broken for a ten room addition. (Library will remain the same, which is fine.) Corrin Sellen, Librarian Walter Hill School, Swedesboro, NJ cbsimc@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
