ELEM: Help with a book title

A teacher wanted to know the title of a book she loved as a child. She said
it's about a fish who grows big and eventually leaves the bowl, but in the
end returns to the bowl. She remembers it didn't have a lot of text and it
had simple illustrations.
It's not ' A Fish out of Water'  - I tried that one.   Does this ring a bell?
