ELEM: Motivation for poetry readings

Could someone share with me, motivation techniques for poetry to be
shared with elementary students. What do you use and how do you find out
how to share the pleasures and joys of poems.
I am a library school student at Queens College in N.Y. and I have of
some sources, but I know that that there are lots of things I don't know
about and would appriciate any help for a research paper. Thanks again.
