hypothetical reference questions

Dear LM Netters,
    I am a student at Clarion University and need help with a mock
reference question.

the situation:

school library media center
mother
why is the school promoting witchcraft through Harry Potter?

How would you support having Harry Potter in your school library?
I thought of collection development policy, ALA bill of rights,
challenge form and asking if they have read the book. Any other ideas
for supporting Harry Potter in the school library would be greatly
appreciated. Please post hits to the listserve.
